ACT Residual Test

The ACT is used by universities and colleges for admission Requirements. The ACT measures skills in mathematics, reading, and science reasoning. Residual ACT tests are scored locally and generally reported with 5-10 business days of testing to the admission's office.
The Testing Center offers an ACT Residual exam which is strictly for students planning to attend UNM. Seating is limited. You must pre-register for the exam and pay the $55 fee (cash, check or money order only) at that time. You can pre-register Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm during designated dates. Testing fees are non-refundable.

Scores are only used at UNM and are not transferable to other colleges, universities, high schools and scholarship agencies. Individuals must have an application into admissions before testing. Also, you must wait 60 days before retesting. Contact the Testing Center at 277-5346 for additional information on the ACT Residual exam. You may bring a calculator for the mathematics section.
