Defence Activities for Non-Traditional Student Support Test
The nationally recognized DSST Program allows you to receive college credits for learning acquired outside the traditional classroom perhaps from reading, on-the-job training, or independent study. DSSTs offer students a cost effective, time saving way to use their knowledge acquired outside of the classroom to accomplish their educational goals.
Currently, there are almost 2000 colleges and universities that recognize the DSST Program and award college credit for passing scores.
Fees: Examinees must pay the Dantes fee of $80.00 using a credit card. Examinees must also pay a non-refundable UNM fee of $15.00 using cash or check when scheduling your appointments.
Test Dates: Exams are administered by appointment. Appointments must be made in person. Registration is limited per test date, early registration is recommended.
