Graduate Record Examination
General Information
The GRE is used by graduate schools to assist in the assessment of applicants for admission to graduate school, fellowship awards, teaching or research assistants, and guidance and counseling for graduate study. The GRE measures skills in verbal, quantitative and analytical abilities. The General GRE exam is given exclusively on computer.

  • You must register with ETS to take the exam.
  • No standbys
  • You may follow the ETS/GRE link by clicking on the image to the right for registration information.
An official transcript will be mailed 3 -4 weeks after the test date.

Fees:

$130 U.S., U.S. Territories*, and Puerto Rico
$150 All Other Locations
$ 40 Rescheduling Fee
$ 35 Standby registration
