ACT NATIONAL TEST:
The ACT is used by universities and colleges for admission requirements. The ACT measures skills in mathematics, reading, and science reasoning. Students must register with ACT to take the exam. UNM Academic Testing Center & Proctoring Services is unable to provide ACT score results. ACT will mail scores 4-7 weeks after the test date to designated address.

ACT RESIDUAL TEST:
The ACT is used by universities and colleges for admission requirements. The ACT measures skills in mathematics, reading, and science reasoning. We offer the ACT results are generally reported to the Admissions Office within 4-6 weeks of testing. We offer an ACT Residual exam strictly for students planning to attend UNM. Seating is limited. You must pre-register for the exam and pay the $65 fee (Please visit our payment tab for details). You can pre-register Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm during designated dates only. Testing fees are non-refundable. Scores are only used at UNM and will not be transferred to other colleges, universities, high schools or scholarship agencies. Individuals must have an application into Admissions before testing. Also, you must wait 60 days before retesting. If you arrive late you will not be admitted into the exam and you must pay the registration fee again for a new test date. Contact the Academic Testing Center & Proctoring Services at 505-277-5346 for additional information on the ACT Residual exam. You may bring an ACT approved calculator for the mathematics section. Please visit the ACT website to see if your calculator is allowed.
Report to the Academic Testing Center & Proctoring Services on test date no later than 8:15 a.m. Examinees who arrive late will not be admitted & testing fees are non-refundable. Our doors open at 7:30 a.m. Bring your photo I.D. and an approved calculator for the exam.
