DSST
The nationally recognized DSST Program allows you to receive college credits for learning acquired outside the traditional classroom perhaps from reading, on the job training or independent study. DSST's offer students a cost effective, time saving way to use their knowledge acquired outside of the classroom to accomplish their educational goals.
Currently, there are almost 2000 colleges and universities that recognize the DSST Program and award college credit for passing scores.
Fees:
Examinees must pay the DSST fee of $85.00 using a credit card. Examinees must also pay a non-refundable UNM registration fee of $20.00 (Please visit our payment tab for details) before scheduling their appointments. If you cannot make your scheduled appointment please call to cancel and/or reschedule, otherwise you will be charged a $20.00 registration fee to make a new appointment.
Test Dates:
Exams are administered by appointment only. Call to schedule an appointment at: 505-277-5346. For special accommodations contact the UNM Testing Center at 505-277-5346. You must have a current photo ID and an institution code (where you want your scores sent) when you come in to test. To locate your institution code or for additional information please visit the DSST Program website. IMPORTANT: There is a 3 month waiting period before repeating a test.
